What in the world does “classical” even mean? Most people today imagine something out of date, old and not relevant for the modern world. Head of School Ty Fischer joins us today to tell his unbelievable story of how he was hired as Head of School at 25 years of age (you’ve got to hear it!) and gives us some practical ways to explain and really appreciate this important word…Listen in…

Ty Fischer has been the head of school at Veritas Academy in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, since 1997 (22 years!). He received a BA in history from Grove City College and a master of divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Recently, he edited the book Teaching Beauty: A Vision for Music & Art in Christian Education. He was the managing editor of Veritas Press’ Omnibus Project. He was a contributor to Perspectives on Family Ministry and Perspectives on Your Child’s Education which were published in October 2009.
