Luke Davis is the Headmaster of Seattle Classical Christian School. He received his BA in English from the University of North Florida in 2005. Three years later he earned an MA in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. Luke has eleven years of experience in classical Christian education serving as a teacher initially, and later as the first Secondary School principal for ACCS-accredited Riverbend Academy. He is married to Lynn and they have four children. Luke’s vocation is to serve families as they pursue the paideia of God for their children (Ephesians 6:4). Luke, Lynn and the boys love good food, exploring the PNW, and Seattle sports. The Davis’ call the Belltown neighborhood home.
Luke Davis up and moved from sunny Florida to the center of the city in Seattle, Washington, with his wife and four young children, with the specific purpose of running a classical Christian school and raising his kids. Luke knew that people, throughout the world, are leaving suburban areas and heading back into the cities. This makes for places of rich culture and opportunities to raise up children to know, serve and understand the bigger world, even when it is hard – really hard. Luke’s relocation was one of many ways he intentionally raises up his own kids and runs his school. Luke’s journey is an inspiration and a vision for other families regardless of where you live.
