Susan Crosier, Ed.D., is the Head of School at Grace Preparatory Academy, a private Christian school in Arlington, Texas. The first University-Model School, Grace Prep, opened in 1993 and is now one of 90 University-Model Schools worldwide. Dr. Crosier is an avid learner. With vast experience serving in public and private education, Dr. Crosier is passionate about education and is smitten with the opportunity to teach from a Biblical worldview.

Dr. Crosier joined Grace Preparatory Academy in 2016 and has led as the Head of School since January 2021. Recently completing her doctoral work at Baylor University, she is forever a “Sic’em Bears” fan and a lover of green and gold. Her dissertation on parent engagement solidified the importance of family-school partnerships for student success.  Dr. Crosier is passionate about inviting parents into their children’s learning journey and believes a collaborative school environment is critical to creating healthy relationships between home and school.

Dr. Crosier is most crazy about her family, especially her 2-year-old grandbaby. Susan is married to Scott (32 years), and they have two grown children, both graduates of Grace Preparatory Academy. Emma and her husband, Bryant, met at The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and are both educators. They have a two-year-old son, Maverick, and another little boy on the way. Nate is a graduate of Baylor University and is a CPA at Deloitte.
